I just want to say thank you for the most amazing experience at boots opticians in Meadowhall, everyone who dealt with my mum, dad and me were fantastic- Katie, Sam and Jess were so friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more from any of them. A special thank you goes to Sam who was so patient and helpful with us, he ended up being with us for four hours and never complained once (he even missed his dinner hour)!!!!! Thanks to his knowledge, patience, humour, recommendations and helpfulness, we all ended up with two pairs of designer glasses and a contact lens scheme! We all absolutely love our glasses and get lots of compliments about them. We will be recommending you to everyone, your staff go above and beyond every time we are there, which is a credit to you. They made us feel comfortable and assured all the way through and were there when we needed them. Thank you so much xxx

I arrived on time and 40 mins later decided to leave as no one attended the appointment I had made. Very disappointed.

I have used this branch before about 2 years ago. I attended my appointment on time and was asked to have a seat in the waiting area but there didn't appear to be one. Had preliminary tests with a young lady who didn't appear totally confident. The Optometrist, Katie was a delight. I was totally satisfied by the consultation with her. I felt confident with her opinion and felt she was thorough and listened to me. After that I was passed onto another person to 'assist' me with my choice of frames. Whilst he was very pleasant, he was young and I couldn't help thinking that really I would have preferred a woman's opinion and as glasses have to be considered a fashion accessory, how would he help me choose? I asked him to leave me and I would make my choice. Two years ago I had a lovely lady to advise me who was more helpful and I enjoyed the experience. After choosing two frames, I presented a £20 promotional voucher. I was told I could use it on my transaction, then I apparently couldn't because basically he didn't understand the wording on the reverse of the coupon - he never referred this to anyone else and by this time I had been there long enough so I didn't pursue the matter. I felt the department was overbooked and it appeared very congested - the area seems much smaller than I remember.

It was brilliant from start to finish to be honest. Holly and Gully were both incredibly helpful and friendly. Best optometrist I've been to And will continue to go from now on!
